Fun Events in Utah this weekend!

Taylorsville Dayzz: Taylorsville celebrates its birthday with a carnival (Thu-Sat), a car show (Sat), a parade (Sat), a Neil Diamond tribute band (Sat), food & craft booths, a 5K Fun Run (Sat), fireworks (Fri & Sat), and a concert by the Utah Symphony, with assistance on the 1812 Overture by the Wasatch Mountain Cannoneers (Mon) - it's a real blast - plug your ears! Puppets in the Park: The Brigham City Fine Arts Center brings puppets to the park as it presents The Problem with Pirates, a show that mixes puppets with live actors ages eight to 18. Free show. Friday, 6/26, 2pm, Rees Pioneer Park, 800 West Forest Street, Brigham City.

Midsommar Celebration at IKEA: Saturday, 6/27 noon-7pm. IKEA invites families to a celebration of the Swedish Midsommar (Midsummer) featuring traditional songs and dances, face painting, crafts for kids, and a $9.99 all-you-can-eat Swedish smorgasbord. More info here.

Swaner EcoFestival: The Swaner EcoFestival offers live music, outdoor recreation, arts and crafts, a climbing wall, and local food vendors, plus opportunities for kids to paint stepping stones, make animal tracks, build bugs, and turn trash into treasure at the Kids' Art Yard. 11am-4pm, Saturday.
