I went on a whim Friday night {party animal, I know!} I stopped by to get gas and had all my coupons with me, so I just ran in and got the items below.
Before swiping my Smith's card my total came to $47.XX, but after sales and coupons, I paid only $7.80, which represents an 83% savings! I purchased 30 items, so my average per item was only .26!
Jodi, a fellow coupon shopper was kind enough to share the details of her trip with me! She bought a total of 24 items and paid only $9.24 total, which represents an 84% savings and just .39 cents per item!There are so many great deals to be had this week at Smith's! Did the catalina work on the brownie mixes? I'm going today after work but still debating on those brownie mixes. I think if they do spit out a catalina I'll be all over them. :o)

I wanted to ask about the brownie mix catalinas too. I bought two a couple of days ago, but didn't get a catalina, did it work for you?
How many transactions did you have to do to get everything in your picture? I couldn't match it up to your scenarios. Is the scenario for Jodi's trip there, too?
Kelly- I just did ONE transaction- 30 items all apart of the mega savings event! That's the beauty of smith's- you don't have to split them up.
The scenarios I gave are just examples. I get 4 papers, plus have family and firends that give me some, so my shopping ends up being a bit different just because I have a lot of coupons. Doesn't mean you can't get the same stuff- I know some in my area that get 9 newspapers!! But for the deal scenarios, I try and create them taking into consideration most couponers just have 1-2 papers.
I didn't try the brownie mix catalina...haven't yet heard if it's working here in UT and I only needed 1 item.

Smith's was so much fun this week! I don't have a pic but I got 88 items for $74.23!!! Total before fresh values and coupons was $220.XX!
Love the smith's sale. Saved over 130 dollars. The platex gloves are free when you use the coupon from a couple weeks ago. sheshopssmart has the info on her blog.
