I also heard that there is a $1 Cat OYNO when you purchase any 2 Digornio products.. Other Cats at Smiths I've gotten cats when buying multipiles in the same transaction. So if you buy 10 of the pizzas, 5 $1 Cat chould print.

at our smiths {bountiful hwy 89} there is a philadelphia cookbook that sells for 19.99 at the end of the diary aisle. free wyb 5 philadelphia products. you get the cookbook {looks deliciously awesome} and five cream cheeses for free. when i did the deal this morning, the coookbook did not automatically come off. they had to manually fix it. keep an eye on that. makes it an even better deal.

I just got back from smiths and there is a big sign by the chips ahoy saying that they were NOT part if the promo and were put in the ad by mistake. They are on sale for $1.99 though.

I am pretty stoked! I got some Progresso $1 of two coupons when I was at Target last week. With the Kick Off promo, I got the soup for 50 cents a can! Target demonstrators are always giving out great coupons!

Just a quick question if anyone knows. I tried to buy the Kraft cream cheese with the $5/5 coupon, and the cashier said that if I was using that coupon at least one of the items had to be a block of cheese, or shredded cheese or something. It didn't say this on the coupon, and my sister was able to do this transaction without a problem in a different store. Anyone else hear this?

Last night I visited the St George Smith's store and was completely shot down using the $5 off 5 on the cream cheese. I was told by my checker as well as the MOD (manager on duty, or some sucker they told to watch the store at 8pm) that you cannont use the coupon to score free items. That their coupon policy prohibits it. She said I had to purchase at least one other item like block or shredded. I am going to go back over there this morning to see if this infact is true. And she was rude, just an FYI. :-)

I used the Kraft coupon with no problem, although the cashier did have to enter it manually.

Tarah-
We were just fine doing the cream cheese last night. The customer service mngr was nearby and my cashier asked him about my $5/5 and the B1G1 free oreos from facebook & he said they're all good even with the promotion. What a deal :)

I also had the same problem with the smiths in st. george yesterday morning...let me know how it went today.

If you guys are having problems with using the coupons I highly suggest you contact corporate so that they can contact the Store Manager directly. They can not prohibit you from receiving a free product because of a coupon. The store promotion is different from the coupons. Coupons are a legal tender as much as paying cash for the item. and duh where does it state you have to buy a shredded cheese or a block to use it.... You could also price match it at Walmart...

I also had the same problem at the St. George store..she finally let me use the coupon..but I had to by 2 more cream cheese at normal price... SO I got 12 cream cheese of $3.52.. Which isnt to bad!.. They are kind of dumb when it comes to coupons...they said they could not udjust the coupon down..which I don't believe..because they did it before when they had there caselot sale on the cans of libby!

Smith's in PG wouldn't even take my Kraft coupon, saying it was fraudulent (which I know it's not.)

This coupon beeped for me and I was buying bags of shredded cheese last week. So for the manager to say that you can't get free things with it, is not true because I was still paying even with the coupons and the register wasn't taking it. My cashier just entered them manually.
Also, I got a cute little coupon book from Smith's a few weeks ago with a coupon for $1.00 off 2 Capri Suns, so mine were only $.99 each! What a fun sale this week! Got me some Velveeta shells for FREE!

Erica Mangum said...

Did your Smiths take the velveeta shells coupon for $1 of 2???

Kristy said...

Yup Erica, mine took the Velveeta coupons just fine. Got me 6 of them!

The Chips Ahoy are not part of the promotion, but the Oreos are. They are $1.99 before promo.

If Smith's is giving anyone a hard time about cream cheese, take in the bottom of the sheet the coupon printed on if you still have it, since it lists right on there what you can use it on. Might help.

Does anyone know if you can use that coupon on the spreadable cream cheese, like strawberry flavored, or just the block?
