If you were able to take advantage of the $4/4 Kellogg's cereal coupon and the Smith's 50% off cereal sale, then here are a couple more tidbits of info that might help you save even more.
Many of the cereal boxes advertise $5 in breakfast coupons inside the box. It's worth it, in my opinion, to pick out boxes with these coupons inside as I've enjoyed using them for a while now! Each year Kellogg's comes out with 3 sets of new breakfast coupons and the best part is- they don't expire for the next year! So these coupons I got inside the boxes today don't expire until March, 2013! Six of my boxes had sets and as luck would have it, all mine were set #3. The most valuable coupon inside was $2 off 2 gallons of milk wyb 2 boxes Kellogg's cereal. If you got set #1 or #2, let me know what coupons are inside!
Also, if you buy 10 boxes of Raisin Bran, you can submit for a $10 gift card back from Kellogg's, to use on gas. See the rebate form here. You must clip and mail in the UPC's no later than 4/30/12. {Thanks to everyone who informed me of this rebate!}

I wish I would have paid attention, only 4 of my 18 boxes have coupons. :( I have only opened one box, but it had set #2: $1/3 boxes of Pop-Tarts, $1/1 Minute Maid OJ, $1 off fresh fruit when you buy 3 cereal, $1/3 Froot Loops, Apple Jacks, Corn Pops, Honey Smacks or Frosted Flakes, and $1/2 Raisin Bran.
Pack 1 has the following coupons:
1.00 off two pkgs Krave, Raisin Bran Cinnamon Almond and/or Crunchy Nut
1.00 off two pkg Frosted Mini Wheats
1.00 off two Nutri-Grain bars
1.00 off two pkg Rice Krispies, Cocoa Krispies, Crispix, and/or Corn Flakes
1.00 off three Pop Tarts
Number 2 packet has the following:
1.00 off three Pop Tarts
1.00 off one Minute Maid Pure Squeezed 59 oz bottle
1.00 off Fresh Fruit when you buy three pkg Kelloggs cereals 10 oz or larger
1.00 off three pkg Froot Loops, Apple Jacks, Corn Pops, Honey Smacks, and/or Frosted Flakes
1.00 off two pkg Raisin Bran 14 oz or larger
Just got back from Smith's on 90th in WJ and their cereal was still fairly well stocked for 7:30 at night.
One disappointing thing I found after loading 10 boxes of Raisin Bran into my cart was that the $4/4 boxes coupon is for the 20oz boxes only... the ones included in this sale are 25.5 oz. - at least that's what was at this Smith's. I didn't even see a 20oz. box available to buy there. There was an 18oz. one and it was almost $3.50.
I ended out putting them all back and using my $5/5 coupons and snagging the other cereals that were there since there was no limit on size, type, etc.
I got a few boxes that had the coupons inside & got 2 of pack#3 and 1 of pack #1.
Okay...I just got back from Smith's and I was planning on doing the Raisin Bran deal but when I got there the Raisin Bran wasn't marked as being on the sale...it was the Smith's in Orem.
Is any one else having trouble getting the store to take their coupons. Mine are not printing both of the bar codes. When I look on line it says that it is a new system that coupons compnaies are moving to and the store has to update thier computers.
I absolutely love Frosted Flakes and am always stocked so this sale was awesome! I got 12 boxes of Frosted Flakes for just over $5! I had the $4/4 coupons and on top of that I used a $1/1 Kelloggs coupon from Smith's that I got in the mail AND I got a $5 voucher for Smith's that I got in the mail! Amazing deal!
The $4/4 coupons isn't valid on any of the smiths cereals. The 20oz raisin bran cereal was $3ish dollars a box. Check your coupons before buying the $4 coupon is only valid on 4 flavors, non are on sale.
On the coupons I printed the size limitation says 20 oz only and the boxes at Smiths were like 23.8 oz or something…did your coupons have that restriction as well…I am scared to try it since the size is not correct…
I'm so bummed! I looked and looked and NONE of the boxes at my Smith's had the coupons in them. I bought 8 boxes of Raisin Bran because that's all my coupons matched up with the sale. My 2 yo *thinks* she likes raisin bran, but really she just likes the raisins!
The $4/4 coupon worked fine for me. The only cereal listed on it that was on sale was the raisin bran. I didn't notice the size difference. I didn't have a problem using the coupons though. I hope that doesn't give the store problems that they pass on to us couponers!
