Free Slurpees make 100+ degree weather bearable

Just as we were all about to melt in this heat, a reminder popped up on my phone. It's 7-11's FREE Slurpee day! Quick, kids, gets your shoes on and jump in the car!
Our 7-11 store was well stocked and ready for us! Everyone was super friendly and didn't mind at all that we set up camp inside where it was air conditioned, rather than enjoying our slurpees outside in the inferno of Utah.
And guess what? Dinner tonight? Totally doing the Chili's Kids Eat FREE. Awesome.

I mentioned this promo at Girl Scout day camp this morning. Next thing Provo 7-11s knew, there were 30 thirsty Girl Scouts bombarding their store! They too were well stocked. Thanks for the heads up!
How funny! I love it when companies pull off a free promo like this- and do it well. 7-11 does a great job. Glad you took advantage like we did!
