i pinned that dora cake awhile ago and tried it today actually. My one peice of advice - follow her icing recipe, do not try it with store bought. Store bought does not get hard enough and will not come off uniformly. Turned out awesome minus ripping it in half...good thing it was just a kicks and giggles cake and not the real deal for a birthday or something!
