$5 off Hale Centre Theatre's 9 to 5, The Musical

Pin It

The Hale Centre Theatre hosted a Bloggers night this week which my husband and I, as well as 2 Utah Deal Diva readers {and some of their friends!} were able to attend. We all had such a fantastic time! As a bonus too, they sent me a $5 off coupon for anyone who wants to go watch the show 9 to 5.

The show was hilarious and had great music. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing it, so take advantage of this $5 off coupon! It has some serious girl power, so grab some ladies in your neighborhood and celebrate a night away from the kids. The three female leads all did a fantastic job, but I have to do a shout-out to the gal who played Roz ~ Brooklyn Pulver. She totally nailed that performance and was hysterical!
My one and only shot at being on stage!

Prior to the show, Hale Centre gave us a behind the scenes tour, which was fascinating. All performances are shown in their center-stage theater {also called a theater in the round} so the audience completely surrounds the stage. Despite having hundreds of people in the theater, this set-up really creates a more intimate feel. Even sitting up at the top you still feel like you have great seats! This isn't just any ordinary stage either. It has the ability to move up and down, as well as break into different segments that can move independently. Between the movement and the lights, this dynamic stage has the ability to emphasize different elements of the performance.
Underneath the stage - my Mechanical
Engineer husband was drooling.

Hale Centre Theatre  is the nation's highest attended community theater and has over 25,000 season ticket holders. Utah loves theater... and that's a good thing since Hale Centre holds regular auditions looking for local talent to take the stage! The actors are paid, although most would agree they perform in shows more for the love of singing and acting, as opposed to the monetary benefits. Having a love of theater is a must since they tend to rehearse shows for 100+ hours before taking the stage on opening night. The dedication and commitment can certainly be seen in the performances- everything I've seen at the Hale Centre Theatre is amazing!

The production 9 to 5 ends on September 29th, so call now to get your tickets! {All shows will eventually sell out- there are only a few performances left!}

A huge thank you to the Hale Centre Theatre for sponsoring this event and providing us tickets to attend!
