The awesome Smith's sale going on right now extends into next week, so if you haven't shopped yet, gather your coupons and get in the car! Sales like this make it fun to grocery shop. I went very well organized with my coupons altogether, my Grocery Smarts list and calculator in hand. I had my two youngest kids with me and I was in and out in less than 45 minutes! So excited about that. Yes, we were a bit rushed but still- I did it! Nothing like having dance class next door to give you that small window of time to work with!
My pre-coupon and sale total was $219.37. Crazy, huh?! But look what I got- the All detergent, Finish dish washing Tabs and toiletries all have really high "normal" prices at Smith's.
My post-sale and coupon total was just $75.14- and I had a $3 catalina print off, which brings my total down to $72.14, which represents a 67% savings!
The catalina comes from the Capri-Sun juices I got- buy 4 boxes {which perfectly coincides with the Buy 3, get 1 free coupon from 1/6 SS!} and you'll get a $3 catalina back. After sale, coupon and catalina they cost just .75 per box!
Overall, I was really pleased with everything I got. I love it when I can get 4-packs of yogurt for $1 each. {This is where 4 papers comes in really handy too- we go through yogurt like crazy!} The cereal is all pretty healthy and using the coupon from 1/6 SS you get a FREE gallon of milk with each 4 boxes you buy. Good thing too, because we're about out of each! The Finish detergent is just $1.34 after coupon and the All detergent was $1.99. The Edge Shave gel and Dove body wash were $1 each after coupon.

Finish dish washing detergent- $2.15/1 from 1/6 SS.
Apparently that week was a great coupon week!
I saved 42% and did 4 of the 10 item deals. I had a ton of coupons. I was happy! We stocked up on Goldfish (no coupons for those) but the kids love them. Maybe not the best way to buy them? But that is when we stock up. I was happy overall. My final total was $103.
Goldfish are cheaper this way than in the big pack at Costco.
There are Catalina's for Kleenex and Reach floss that correspond with this sale.
I was reading my post coupon where you buy 4 cereal and you get the free milk. I don't see Honey Bunches of Oats listed, did you use it on the Honey Bunches? I didn't dare try at the store earlier wondering if it worked, I notice my store was almost cleared out of that cereal, so maybe it does work? Will you verify for me. Also the Raisen Bran was not part of the mega event at my store, was it at yours? Thanks For your help.
I don't have the coupon in front of me, but I swear Honey bunches were listed- and yes, it did work fine!
